Acute Care (AC) is a subgroup of indicators within the HCQO database and provides data on the quality of hospital-based care for acute conditions. The database includes indicators on 30-day mortality following acute myocardial infarction, haemorrhagic and ischaemic stroke and hip surgery initiation within 2 days.
